With $7.5 billion in funding for EV charging up for grabs through the federal IIJA program, states and other agencies are racing to develop EV charging deployment plans. However, without the right data, basic questions such as, “How many chargers will my community need and where should they be located?” prove difficult to answer. This workshop outlines dedicated funding for planning tools to help cities and states use robust data tools that offer a data-driven strategy for EV infrastructure planning, including taking into account key social equity factors such as race, income, and health to meet Justice40 targets. Using real-world examples from clients, Volta will showcase how easy and fast planning and reporting can be using the PredictEV software tool.
