Linda Hutchins-Knowles works to accelerate a just transition to clean mobility in the San Francisco Bay Area and California. She and her team provide education in English, Spanish and other languages about EVs and the many incentives available to income-qualifying residents to purchase new and used EVs. As one of the leaders of the EV Charging Access for All Coalition, Linda leverages her organizing, movement-building, and communication skills to help build the political will for more equitable access to EV charging—particularly for multi-family buildings—in local cities and the state of California. Linda’s previous work, as the Senior California Organizer for Mothers Out Front, focused on passing ambitious building electrification reach codes and gas ban ordinances in San Jose and surrounding cities. She and Mothers Out Front Silicon Valley, which she co-founded in 2016, were named “Climate Smart Champion of the Year” in 2019 by Mayor Sam Liccardo and the San José City Council.
