David Peters is a member of the environmental policy team at AASHTO. In this capacity, David supports two AASHTO committees: the Committee on Environment and Sustainability, and the Committee on Transportation System Security and Resilience. David also manages the Electric Vehicle Practitioners Working Group, which consists of state DOT employees working on EV infrastructure implementation in their respective states. As a staff liaison to these groups, David provides technical assistance and policy analysis for members. Prior to joining AASHTO, David was a member of the Energy, Infrastructure, and Environment Division at the National Governors Association, working closely with Governors’ staff on energy and infrastructure policy.
