Nicole Bruns has been sitting as a chairperson for the Disadvantaged Communities Subcommittee for the Sacramento Plug-In Electric Vehicle Collaborative since June 2019. Nicole leads and presents during monthly meetings for the subcommittee and the collaborative. In this position, the chair helps assist with program developments and implementation as well as connecting organizations with one another for better program integration and influence. Nicole also founded Bruns Auri, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit in August 2019. Bruns Auri, Inc. offers environmental education to help California meet and maintain carbon neutrality, find sustainable and equitable solutions, and teach about various environmental topics.
