Marcus Alexander is a Principal Technical Leader in the Electric Transportation program at the Electric Power Research Institute. Mr. Alexander has worked on a variety of topics related to the interactions between electric vehicles and the grid, including analysis of infrastructure demand, generation demand, distribution grid impacts, and environmental effects of transportation electrification, including environmental justice impacts.

Mr. Alexander received a BS in Mechanical Engineering (1999) and a MS in Electrical Engineering (2003) degrees in from the University of California, Davis. His Master’s Thesis focused on a flexible electronics platform for prototype automotive development.
