Dai Technologies Corporation’s Founder & CEO is Sheryl Ellison Ponds, “YOUR Electric Vehicle Adoption Expert”. In 2018, Sheryl launched DaiTechCorp – “the Art & Soul of Electric Vehicle Charging” - inspired by her personal desire to own an EV and working through her experience to overcome Range Anxiety. Stymied by the physical limitations to energize an electric vehicle at home, she sensed that there are many individuals like her - enjoying life in a dense urban market - who require greater access to EV battery chargers. Concluding there were no simple market solutions available, Sheryl began creating her own and catapulted into the new era of electrified transportation.

Upon its founding, DaiTechCorp became the nation’s first Black and Woman owned general contracting firm that specializes in EV charger infrastructure. For several years, DaiTechCorp has enjoyed the privilege of being a Qmerit Certified Solutions Partner and an authorized distributor and reseller of top Tier EV charger brands.

Today, DaiTechCorp provides concierge-like EV adoption solutions for places “where people live”: Single family, multifamily, and mixed-use developments in the Metropolitan Washington area aka the DMV. Sheryl chose this niche to ensure local urbanites have access to charging @Home just like their suburban counterparts.

Sheryl has extensive project management, negotiations, and transactional experience in various industries including corporate banking, manufacturing, and commercial real estate. She conferred a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Tennessee, an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, and she is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). She resides in Prince George’s County Maryland with her husband and “Favorite Sun”.
