Russell Vare has 20 years of experience in clean tech with a focus on EVs. He leads automotive partnerships in the US for Kaluza, a global provider of EV intelligent charge management software. He has previously worked at automotive, charging station and software companies with a focus on bidirectional charging and vehicle-to-grid functionality including Nissan, Mercedes-Benz, Nuvve and Flex Power Control. At Nissan, he led the first V2G pilot for the company and at Nuvve developed the world’s first commercial V2G school bus commercial deployments, with over a megawatt of installed V2G capacity. He has a BA in Economics from UC Santa Barbara and a Master’s in Public Policy from UCLA and resides in San Diego, California.
