Devashree is the Director of the World Resources Institute’s US Clean Energy Economy program. In this role, she supports policymakers and other stakeholders to ensure policies and strategies to advance the clean energy transition are fair and inclusive, with a focus on decent jobs, skills, economic development, equity, and putting people and communities at the center of the transition. Devashree’s most recent projects assessed potential employment impacts of the EV transition and key just transition considerations for the auto sector in Michigan and how to navigate a just transition in the oil and gas sector in middle-income developing countries. Beyond her role at WRI, Devashree also serves on the National Academy of Sciences, Engineering, And Medicine's Committee on Accelerating Decarbonization in the United States: Technology, Policy, and Societal Dimensions.
