Born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Skyler moved to the Rocky Mountains to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Colorado State University. Driven by her passion for sustainability and studying human interactions with the environment, Skyler focused her studies on Environmental Policy. Skyler started her career in the electric mobility space with Northern Colorado Clean Cities, a non-profit organization sponsored by the U.S Department of Energy’s Clean Cities Program. In this role, Skyler worked as a ReCharge Coach, supporting the Colorado Energy Office’s Charge Ahead Colorado Grant, by helping commercial entities secure funding for EV charging stations. Skyler then joined the utility space and has been with Xcel Energy for 1 year. On the Clean Transportation Team, Skyler manages Xcel’s robust EV rebate programs, with a focus on equity programs that serve income qualified individuals and higher emissions communities. Through her experience in both the non-profit and utility space, Skyler has worked closely with local governments, consumers, business owners, school districts, multifamily dwellings, community organizations, and more to secure funding for electrification initiatives!
